Reducing The Sugar Content:

To reduce the sugar content in your Super Berries and Papaya Smoothie while still maintaining its delicious flavor and nutritional benefits, you can make the following ingredient adjustments:

  1. Bananas: Reduce the number of bananas from 2-3 to 1 or even half of a banana. Bananas are naturally sweet and contribute to the sugar content.

  2. Honey: Omit the raw honey entirely or use a small amount of a sugar-free sweetener or a touch of stevia if desired. This will significantly reduce the added sugars.

  3. Medjool Dates: Reduce the number of dates from 3-4 to 1-2, or omit them altogether. Dates are a concentrated source of natural sugars.

  4. Açaí: Opt for unsweetened açaí to avoid additional sugar. You can find unsweetened açaí packets or puree in most health food stores.

  5. Berries: While berries are relatively low in sugar compared to other fruits, you can reduce the overall sugar content by using fewer strawberries and blackberries if you prefer.

  6. Amazing Grass Berry Flavor Drink Powder: Check the label for added sugars. If it contains added sugars, you may want to reduce the amount used or look for a similar product with no added sugars.
