ginger gold apple salad

Welcome back to this week's apple-inspired culinary journey! As we savor the flavors of September and the variety of apples it brings, I'm excited to introduce you to a tasty and healthy dish – the Kale and Ginger Gold Apple Salad. This salad is a wonderful mix of flavors and textures, and it's not only delicious but also great for you. So, let's jump right into the recipe and discover the goodness of this early fall creation!

The Magic of Ginger Gold Apples:

Before we dig into the recipe, let's talk about the star of the show – Ginger Gold Apples. These golden beauties are a variety of yellow apples with a mild, sweet flavor and a hint of tartness. Perfect for pies, they also bring a unique twist to salads. Packed with vitamin C and dietary fiber, Ginger Gold Apples lend a refreshing and slightly tangy note to this salad.

The Power of Kale:

Our salad's green hero is Lacinato Kale, also known as Dinosaur Kale or Italian Kale. This dark leafy green is a nutritional powerhouse, boasting vitamins A, C, and K, as well as fiber and antioxidants. Kale is excellent for your health and adds a delightful crunch to this dish. This particular variety of Kale happens to be one of my most favorite greens, too!
