Slowing Down to Thrive
Starting in January, I’m shifting to a calmer, more sustainable posting schedule so I can create deeper resources to help you flex your plant power and thrive beyond 60.
Slowing Down to Thrive: My New Posting Schedule
Starting in January: A Gentle Shift in Our Posting Schedule 💚
Hi friends,
I wanted to take a moment and talk with you about what is coming in January.
Over the past year I have been publishing around four new blog posts every week, plus posting daily on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok, along with a monthly subscribers only newsletter. It has been a full, beautiful season of recipes, plant powered tips, and real talk about what it means to thrive beyond 60.
At the same time, there are some exciting new projects and opportunities growing behind the scenes. To give those the time and focus they deserve, I am going to adjust my posting schedule a bit so I can show up for you in a more sustainable way.
This is not me stepping away. It is me choosing a calmer rhythm so I can keep creating helpful content for the long haul.

What is changing in January
Starting in January, here is the new rhythm I will be moving to:
Blog posts
Instead of four posts every week, I will focus on:
- One new in depth blog post each week
Think of these as my main anchor posts. They will still include recipes, flexitarian basics, gut and joint health conversations, and real life updates from my own journey beyond 60.
Some months you may also see a simple bonus recipe or quick tip, if I have the extra time and energy, but the core promise is one solid post each week.
Subscribers only newsletter
The subscribers only newsletter will continue, with a little more intention behind it:
- One “Thrive Beyond 60” newsletter each month
This will usually go out near the start of the month. It will bring together the most important posts, a personal note, and anything special I am working on that I think will support you, such as guides, bundles, or new resources.
Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
Instead of posting daily on every platform, I will be sharing in a way that feels more focused:
- About three focused pieces of content each week, repurposed across Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
For example, one week might look like:- A short “What I Eat For…” style video
- A simple recipe or snack idea
- A flexitarian lifestyle or mindset tip for thriving beyond 60
You may still see extra stories or an extra reel now and then, but I am no longer aiming for separate daily posts on every platform. I would rather give you fewer, more thoughtful pieces that you can actually use.
Why this change is a good thing for both of us
By simplifying the schedule, I am creating space to:
- Build out deeper resources that take more time and focus
- Finish projects we have been talking about, like new guides, mini courses, and supportive tools for everyday life
- Protect my own energy, health, and creativity so I can keep showing up for you consistently
My goal is still the same. I want to help you flex your plant power, feel strong and capable in your own body, and thrive beyond 60 with food, movement, mindset, and practical tools that fit real life.
This new rhythm will help me do that without burning out, and it will let me create the kind of resources that can support you far beyond a single post in your feed.
What is not changing
Even with this shift, a few things are staying exactly the same:
- My commitment to honest, real talk about aging, health, and lifestyle
- My love for mostly plant based flexitarian recipes you can actually make
- My focus on simple, doable steps, not perfection or pressure
- My deep appreciation for you being here, reading, commenting, trying recipes, and walking this path with me

Thank you for being here with me
If you are a regular reader or subscriber, thank you for opening these emails, saving recipes, and sharing your own stories. You are the reason I keep creating.
If you are new here, welcome. You will still get a steady flow of helpful content. It will simply be coming in a more sustainable, intentional rhythm.
Here is the short version, in case you want to save it:
- One new blog post each week
- One subscribers only “Thrive Beyond 60” newsletter each month
- Around three focused pieces of content each week on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
I am excited for this next season and all the ways we will continue to grow, learn, and thrive together.
Thank you for your support, your patience, and your presence in this community.
Let’s keep flexing our plant power and thriving beyond 60, one simple step at a time. 🌱💚
